About Me:

Self-discovery and fulfilling my purpose in being here are high priorities. This takes several forms. One is that I work with Emotional Freedom Technique. EFT is a very rapid and easy way of changing in ways you want to change. Of all the methods I know, if I had to pick one this would be it.

Among many other uses (phobias, traumas, and more lightweight versions as well) it happens to prevent jet lag. I've written a small manual on how to do that, which will be or is (depending on when you read this) the subject of a scientific survey. Check out www.JetLagPassport.com for details, especially if you're traveling soon.

I meditate and am on the board of a local meditation center involving several Buddhist groups, as well. I think the Big Mind work of Genpo Roshi is terrific. I recently attended the Shambhala Institute for Advanced Leadership in Halifax, which I recommend to anyone.

My hippie credentials are good. I've lived in large and small spiritual communities – The Farm in Tennessee, The Abode (Sufi), and less formal ones. I was at Woodstock.

Now I'm involved with Shambhala. Their aim of enlightened secular society is exactly what I would like to see.

I've studied NVC (Nonviolent Communication, Mashall Rosenberg) and facilitated NVC study groups.

Collective intelligence is holds our greatest potential for changing the world. I've worked out some ways to elicit collective intelligence over several  years. Check out www.HowtoChangeSociety.org for some thoughts on that.

Shsared values are a key so community, and shared questions are a key to collective intelligence. A question-based civilization (to think big - that's what we do here at Zaadz, right?) would constantly evolve toward increasingly good answers to a core question.

I'd suggest this one: “How can all human beings have satisfying lives at the same time as nature becomes increasingly vital and healthy?”

If you found a bit of a new thought, that's good. Thanks for reading.
